Lesson 1 - Getting started on your minting journey
Here are some ways to get USDC onto Polygon to start minting. Note that the USDC minter is on the Polygon/Matic network.
Option 1 - Already have Matic
- Send Matic to your wallet
- Exchange Matic to USDC (I use https://quickswap.exchange/#/swap)
- Start Minting USDC - Use this link: Mint USDC
- Type in the amount you want, Click “Approve Spend” (Limit will be shown)
- Scroll down - enter the amount you want to hire. Click “Hire XYZ Minters”
Option 2 - Have Coinbase and KuCoin
- Buy Stellar (XLM) on Coinbase (XLM is cheap to transfer)
- Transfer to Kucoin.com
- Exchange Stellar for Matic
- Send Matic to your wallet (I use Meta Mask)
- Exchange Matic to USDC (I use https://quickswap.exchange/#/swap)
- Start Minting USDC - Use this link: Mint USDC
- Type in the amount you want, Click “Approve Spend” (Limit will be shown)
